As a native of the Greater Cleveland area, I am a city girl through and through. I grew up in the inner-ring suburb of Shaker Heights, then lived near Edgewater Park to be by Lake Erie for a dozen years, then a year in a Downtown Cleveland apartment followed by 22 years in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. In early 2022, I returned full circle to Shaker Heights, having met a fellow recovering widow and grateful that the universe granted me this bonus round of love that includes his three adult children and our first grandbaby born in January 2025.
I love live music at small local venues like Beachland Ballroom, Music Box Supper Club, The Agora, Jacobs Pavillion or seeing a show at Playhouse Square where I have loved being a volunteer for several decades. I enjoy travel and most recent trips have been Japan, Sicily, France’s Normandy & Brittany regions, Amagansett, Montana, and St. Barths…and our new favorite, spending the month of January every year in Manhattan’s West Village.
I get energy from meeting the newcomers that EA sends my way and my professional and personal life are pretty much blurred together at this point; the people we help relocate to Cleveland/Akron are interesting, well-traveled, fun, and smart. I have made life-long friends through my connections at EA and they are people I have traveled overseas with, shared meals at my home and who invited me to join their book clubs. My life would not be nearly as rich without all the people EA has introduced me to.
