Over the past two decades our family has made four separate moves and have lived in six different homes. I’m a native of Wilmington, Delaware but my husband and I moved our jobs to Northeast Ohio in 2005. After two years here, we spent close to a decade outside of London and in the heart of Tokyo. We cherished our time abroad but all roads led back to Cleveland for us, and after getting a taste of life here, we were happy to come home.
We have a daughter starting her post college career in Austin, TX, a son in college, and a daughter in high school. We also added a Goldendoodle – Sunny – to the family as part of our repatriation promise to our kids, and we couldn’t be happier with this sixth family member.
As a volunteer in the international schools in England and Japan, I took on the roles of ‘Buddy Family Coordinator’ and ‘Neighbor to Neighbor Liaison’, welcoming new families to our international community and ensuring success in their transition. I love the strength and bond of the expatriate community, the family-like ties, and the global connectivity. I feel like I am playing a similar role at EA, introducing, welcoming, and supporting families in their relocation decisions and transition. Northeast Ohio has so much to offer, and I always feel fortunate to share this with others.
When not working at EA I am walking Sunny, playing competitive paddle tennis, or volunteering in the school district and local community, while supporting similar efforts of my family. Currently, I am serving on the Chagrin Falls Booster Board.
