I grew up in Southern California and found my way to the Midwest as a teenager, but it wasn’t until I settled in Central Ohio over 20 years ago that Columbus truly became home. Raising my three kids here has given me such a deep appreciation for this city, its neighborhoods, schools, and the way the community shows up in everyday life. With my husband serving as an elementary principal in Dublin City Schools, our family has been deeply woven into the fabric of this area, and it has become such a meaningful part of our story.
When my children were little, I started a cookie business from home as a creative outlet. What began as decorated cookies quickly became something more impactful, a way to connect with people, celebrate milestones, and build relationships. That love for bringing people together has been at the heart of every role I have taken on since…from teaching, marketing, or simply creating opportunities for others to feel welcome.
At my core, I am a natural connector. I love listening to people’s stories, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them imagine how their lives can flourish in Columbus. Sometimes that looks like pointing them toward the right neighborhood, other times it’s sharing a hidden gem of a restaurant, or simply sitting down for a great conversation. When I am not out exploring the city with others, you will often find me in my kitchen cooking or baking, tending to my garden, or riding bikes with my family. I also love cheering on my three kids: Ben, a US Marine in California, Paige, a high school junior, and Stella, a
seventh grader. And of course, our bullmastiff, Joey, makes sure we never miss his three daily walks! Columbus is where my family’s story has taken root, and I am grateful for the chance to share that love of this city with others.
