I’m thrilled to work and play in Chicago, one of the world’s most beautiful and vibrant cities. Born on the northwest side, I graduated with a degree in Communication from the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign, and moved into a marketing career in the entertainment industry. Over the years, I’ve worked with numerous concert tours, Broadway shows, and prominent arts organizations and venues, nationally and in Chicago. Specializing in strategic partnerships and promotions, much of my work includes collaboration with top corporate and product partners across a myriad of sectors. Currently, I serve as President/Owner for Raymond Marketing Collective and live in Lake Forest, Illinois on Chicago’s North Shore.
As a writer and editor ‘on the side,’ I’ve regularly contributed to several Chicago-centric glossy magazines as a features and profile writer, also serving as restaurant reviewer for Modern Luxury publications. Additionally, my work often includes interim positions for arts and culture organizations to improve marketing positions and procedures, including a stint as interim CMO for Holden Forests & Gardens in Cleveland. As a long-time publicist, early jobs included work for renowned PR executive Margie Korshak, in-house marketing at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, as well as an eye-opening gig as Marketing Director/Central Europe sponsored by the US DOD in West Germany.
On a personal note, I have one son who currently works as a new architect in Des Moines. I love travel, experiencing new restaurants, concerts and exploring our national parks. I consider myself one of Chicago’s strongest advocates and agree with Conde Nast Traveler readers who voted Chicago “Best Big City” in the nation for the past 9 years in a row…I’m excited to show you why.
