Aside from living in Norway for four years, Ohio has always been my home.  I graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Education and a certification in Athletic Training (ATC).  My husband, Ted, is also a graduate of The Ohio State University.  He has an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Jurus Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  He is currently a partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour, and Pease in Downtown Columbus.  We have two daughters, Athena and Sophia, that currently attend The Ohio State University’s main campus. We are huge fans of all things Buckeye, especially the sports!  You will always find us in the Ohio Stadium on football game days.   We have lived in Powell, Ohio for over twenty years.  Powell is home to the world famous Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.  I have had the absolute pleasure of being a stay at home mom, and I am currently in my eighth year as a substitute teacher.  I teach mainly in the Dublin, Olentangy, and Worthington school districts.

I have a passion for playing and watching tennis. I am very active within the tennis community, playing USTA leagues in the fall and winter and GCTA in the summer.  The tennis and pickleball communities host numerous charity events around the city.  It is truly wonderful how tennis and pickleball go beyond the sport and come together to make Columbus a better place. My favorite events are Racquets for Ronald, whose proceeds go directly to the Ronald McDonald House at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and the Diaz family Pan-Can Tournament whose proceeds go directly toward research to find a cure for
pancreatic cancer.

Ted and I enjoy walks at High Banks Metro Park, and we share a love for golf. We have an amazing, large, and loud extended Greek family who we absolutely love spending our time with. I also love to travel with my family – we have been to over 45 countries together and counting!  We are a family of foodies, and I enjoy gourmet cooking. I always try to recreate something in the kitchen that we have tried on our travels.  We also enjoy experiencing the latest and greatest restaurants that Columbus has to offer.  As an official “Experience Columbus Insider”, it is a fantastic way for me to have access to inside information, special events, and many other resources to help me show off our beautiful city!
