The 18th Reason We Love Cleveland: Euclid Avenue

Brad Withers, Guide

Much like Euclid Avenue, the road to Executive Arrangements’ 40th anniversary has been filled with exciting developments. As our Guide, Brad Withers, explains, Euclid Avenue brings back a sense of nostalgia for us Clevelanders.
Let’s start with Public Square, where the original settlers of Cleveland let their animals graze. Revitalized in June 2016 before the Republican National Convention attendees set foot in the city, Public Square now hosts tons of events that are open to the public!
Playhouse Square is a not-so-hidden gem of Cleveland. We’re incredibly lucky to have the second largest performing arts center in the country (outside of New York, of course) right on Euclid Avenue.
From Cleveland State University to Dunham Tavern – the oldest building in Cleveland – to Cleveland Clinic and so much more, Euclid Avenue has a substantial amount of history packed into one street. Going through iterations as Buffalo Road (because it was a main route choice for those traveling to Buffalo) and Millionaire’s Row, Clevelanders know the street well.
Brad wraps up his tour with University Circle, which was originally a trolley turnaround. The area is home to local favorites such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Botanical Garden, and Wade Oval (who else loves Wade Oval Wednesdays and ice skating at the rink?)
