Every year in December our staff votes to select a Greater Cleveland nonprofit to gift financially. Each employee contributes personally and Executive Arrangements matches their donations dollar for dollar. We call it The EA Giving Circle. To be considered for our short list an organization needs to 1) have crossed paths with EA at least once in the year (often by hosting a candidate for a VIP behind-the-scenes experience), 2) have an EA staff member as an active volunteer and 3) is small enough so that the EA donation can make an impact. Our 20 employees look forward to contributing to The EA Giving Circle AND also support additional nonprofits that are near and dear to their hearts as seen in the list below.

Our staff split the vote right down the middle so we are happy and proud to be sending a check to both Karamu House and Refugee Response/Ohio City Farm.

Mike Bartunek, Ohio City Farm/Refugee Response, who warmly welcomed a candidate who had a passion for urban farming

EA staff filled most of two rows for a Karamu show this fall to inspire our DEI initiatives

Speaking of sharing….we asked our staff to share the nonprofits they support by being a board member or volunteer, as well as with their personal checks. So in the season of giving, we are so proud to share the list of all the great causes our small but mighty team of 20 supports including non-profits dedicated to: the arts, education, public parks and greenspaces, placemaking, animal welfare and rescue, mentoring and tutoring, healthcare and disease research, homelessness, food insecurity, women’s health care rights, economic development, human trafficking, local journalism and more.

We’ve always known that Clevelanders and Akronites have big hearts. Our employees are no different. Happy Holidays and may 2023 be a wonderful year for you and yours.
