The EA team with our hard hats on the top floor.

February 26, 2018: Today, EA staffers toured the much talked about (and almost completed) One University Circle residential building. Zach Guren from First Interstate (the developer) along with Anna Ryan and Cate Cymbalisty from Village Green (the property manager) gave us a behind-the-scenes look at several apartments, amenity features, and that spectacular view from the 20th floor penthouse!
One University Circle is a new, luxury high-rise apartment building smack dab in the middle of University Circle, Cleveland’s prestigious arts and culture center. It has 20 stories with 284 apartments plus…

  • 5th floor rooftop deck with a swimming pool, outdoor kitchens, community garden, private cabanas, and fire-pits
  • 2,800 SF fitness center
  • Indoor wellness studio with on-demand fitness classes
  • 20th floor Sky Lounge with a chef’s kitchen
  • 24-hour secured package room
  • Business center and conference room
  • 24-hour concierge services
  • Bicycle storage
  • Dog park and pet grooming room
  • Tempered parking garage with controlled access
  • 24-hour controlled building access

Designed by Dimit Architects, it has a curvilinear design that pays homage to the last part of the original curved trolley line that ran around Euclid Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The first five floors come online on April 4th. The building offers studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floorplans. Studios begin around $1,300; one bedrooms around $1,700; two bedrooms around $2,900; and three bedrooms around $4,700. The 19th floor offers two private residences, and the 20th floor offers one exceptional 4,000 SF apartment. The 20th floor already has a long-term lease for one lucky family.
For guests, there are 14 guest parking spots. Plus, they have worked out a deal with John Hay High School to use their parking lot during non-school hours.
An increase in housing options is an exciting (and much needed) opportunity for this walkable Cleveland neighborhood.
Here is that penthouse view! You can see Downtown Cleveland, Lake Erie, Wade Oval, Severance Hall, Case Western Reserve University, and more. (Don’t worry! For those not in the penthouse, there is a Sky Lounge on the 20th floor that’s available to all tenants.)

View from the 20th floor.

We can’t wait to see One University Circle when it is completed! Thank you again to Zach, Anna, and Cate for the incredible tour.
