A Superfine NYE at the Lake Erie Building
Invoke the spirit of the speakeasy at Lakewood’s Lake Erie Building. The celebration, hosted by the Lakewood Historical Society, is in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Templar Factory Building. Take a walk through history with live entertainment, an open beer and wine bar, and food stations. True to the speakeasy theme, they’ll be serving up classic craft cocktails.

A Toast to 2018
Welcome 2018 with a dynamic musical program! Champagne and hors d’oeuvres will be provided in the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre’s Sears River Room on New Year’s Eve. Continue celebrating with the traditional “Popcorn Ball Drop Party” at Triangle Park in downtown Chagrin Falls.

Cleveland Pops Orchestra’s Annual New Year’s Eve Celebration
For the 22nd year, Cleveland Pops Orchestra will host its New Year’s Eve spectacular at Severance Hall. A two-hour concert kicks off the night and will be followed by dancing with the No Name Band & Jazz Band. Special guest Connor Bogart O’Brien will be the evening’s featured artist as the orchestra performs hits from the ‘50s all the way through the ‘90s.

Glitz and Games at Tabletop Board Game Café
If your idea of fun is ringing in the New Year while playing games surrounded by friends (old and new), head to Ohio City’s Tabletop, the board game café on the West 25th Street strip. Play in big-group games and compete in raffles. Heavy hors d’ouevres, desserts, and a champagne toast will be included.

Lago
A night of mystery and thrills takes place at Lago in the Flats. Don your best 007 Bond get-ups (black tie optional) for their soiree inside Aloft Hotel. Food and drinks will be served throughout the night, including a champagne toast at midnight. VIP packages are available for singles and couples, as well as a late entrance ticket for the after 10:00 p.m. crowd.

New Year’s Eve at Salt+
A black tie event with drink tickets, food stations, and bubbly at midnight.

Nighttown
This classic Cleveland jazz club will host five concerts by three performers. At 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., Manhattan vocalist Janis Siegel will take the main stage. At 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., trumpeter Dominick Farinacci will play in the heated, tucked away patio. Sammy DeLeon Latin Jazz Sextet will close out the night with one show on the patio at 10:15 p.m.

NYE Masquerade at Noble Beast Brewing Co.
This downtown bar will host its first New Year’s Eve masquerade. The semi-formal party features an open bar, heavy hors d’oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight, and a confetti drop. In true brewery fashion, they’ll have special beer tappings to celebrate the night.

Ushabu
For New Year’s Eve, the small shabu-shabu and small plate eatery in Tremont will be offering 27 courses for their special tasting menu served in the style of osechi ryori.

We all know that the kids like to celebrate the New Year as much as adults but can’t quite make it to the midnight countdown. Luckily, Northeast Ohio offers a variety of fun “Noon Year’s Eve” activities so that families can enjoy the excitement of ringing in the New Year too. Check out your favorite activity centers, parks, libraries, and museums for offerings in your neighborhood.

First Night Akron
