This year, Executive Arrangements celebrates its 40th Anniversary! That is 40 years of working and connecting with great Northeast Ohio companies, recruits, new hires, and families!
As part of our celebration, EA Guide Sharon Fruchey is sharing one of her favorite spots in Northeast Ohio…The Solstice Steps! On October 30, 2015, the Solstice Steps opened in the the northwest corner of Lakewood Park. The steps are aligned in the direction of sunset on the summer solstice. They are constructed of tiered white concrete blocks. Each tier has four steps separated by strips of green grass.
Over the past 40 years, Lakewood and its robust parks system has grown tremendously. Lakewood is unique in that it has 3,000 ft of shoreline, yet it once had no access for its citizens to appreciate the view. Years ago, all they saw was a long chain link fence and lake debris below. Fast forward to the construction of the Solstice Steps, and Lakewood Park now has one of the best public spaces in all of Cleveland.
