Caroline Weingart: Our New Director of Post Relocation Services!

by | Sep 19, 2017 | EA Staff News

August, 2017 – Executive Arrangements is pleased to announce that Caroline Weingart has been promoted to the role of Director, Post-Relocation Services. An employee of Executive Arrangements since 1998, Caroline is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University’s Law School and worked as an attorney prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom raising three children and working part-time for EA as a Guide and Project Manager.
Caroline’s new duties play a key role in each client’s relocation process. EA knows that packing everything up and moving to a new town to start over again is stressful.  Her role is to help ease that transition and make sure that each newcomer to Cleveland or Akron feels quickly at home and is connected to the people, places and resources they need in their new town.
Caroline has the advantage of being a Cleveland native while also experiencing what it is like to be a newcomer in a few places, including Middlebury, VT and Newport, RI. She enjoys golf, tennis, jogging, movies, restaurants and gardening.  And, she and her Samoyed therapy dog frequent local schools, libraries, and hospitals to provide help to those in need as well.
Caroline will help answer lifestyle questions and has recently researched and shared info on doctors, babysitters, architects, veterinarians, tennis coaches, gymnastics and Irish dance studios, communities that allow backyard chickens, beauty salons, landscapers, general contractors, furniture stores, and much more!
By tapping into the combined knowledge and networks of EA’s 20+ staffers, Caroline has access to deep resources and can create a personal “yellow pages” (do Millennials even know what yellow pages means?) so that no matter what neighborhood a newcomer settles in, they can access local shops, professionals, and vendors nearby.
And, if a recent transplant wants to reconnect in the non-profit world, Caroline will spend time to understand what they enjoyed doing in their last town and help find a meaningful replacement. So, whether our clients are looking for a done-in-a-day Saturday afternoon project they can do with the whole family or they wish to serve on the board of trustees for a cause they are passionate about, EA can help make those connections and insure they are warmly welcomed into one of the hundreds of great non-profits in NE Ohio, who are all eager for the time and talent of newcomers.

Caroline will also oversee the calendar of events that EA organizes each year to connect our alumni to other recent transplants and local resources. In addition to EA Introduces (a low-key cocktail party for career women new to NE Ohio held in June every year at EA President Margy Judd’s home), Caroline will create mini gatherings including mid-morning coffees for stay-at-home-moms, happy hours for empty nesters who settled in one of the inner ring or urban neighborhoods, nights out at a brewery, and more. EA has hosted past events at Playhouse Square, the Cleveland Botanical Garden and art galleries, and most are intentionally intimate gatherings so it’s easy for newcomers to all meet each other.
