It’s Executive Arrangements’s 40th Anniversary, so we’re counting down 40 of our staffers’ favorite places in Cleveland. We’re looking forward to another 40+ years of connecting out-of-towners to our favorite city, and maybe teaching locals a thing or two along the way.
Caroline Merk, a long-time Guide from our team, took us to one of her top spots: the Ames Family Atrium at the Cleveland Museum of Art (CMA).
The Atrium, which connects the original 1916 building with the more recent addition in 1973, contains a whopping 31,395 square feet of space for parties, fundraisers, and anything you could dream up. Designed by Uruguayan-born architect, Rafael Viñoly, the renovation and expansion took several years…but it was well worth the wait.
In addition to the Atrium, Rafael added two new wings, so the CMA could display even more artwork. (As if we needed another reason to go besides free admission and the existing spectacular displays!)
Pull up a seat, grab a bite to eat from Provenance – a Doug Katz café (also of Fire Food & Drink and Chutney B) – and admire the art exhibits in the naturally-lit space.

The Executive Arrangements team’s favorite part about doing what we do is sharing our deep love of Cleveland with your top job candidates. You already know why our city is so great; it’s our job to help you communicate that to newcomers. If you have any questions about our relocation services process, please feel free to contact us here or give us a call at 216.231.9311.
