Northeast Ohio has been my home since the 1990’s when I was a student at John Carroll University. I grew up in Clintonville, an urban, walkable neighborhood in Columbus, a two-hour drive from here. I have lived in Cleveland, Cleveland Heights, Russell, Canton Peninsula/Hudson, Fairlawn Heights, and now west Akron. West Akron, like many Northeast Ohio communities and suburbs is filled with charming historical homes and surrounded by the Summit County Metroparks.

I have two young-adult children. My daughter is a junior at Elon University in North Carolina, currently studying in Barcelona, Spain. My son is a senior in high school at Walsh Jesuit in Cuyahoga Falls. He plays baseball and is enjoying the college-search process. In our spare time we hike with our three dogs, Aspen, Baylor and Oscar in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and in the Summit Metroparks: no shortage of trails in our neck of the woods!

Outside of EA you can find me supporting the operations of a Cleveland-based women-owned content marketing company, Muse, where I work part-time. I also operate a fully-furnished short term rental property, which is perfect for EA candidates that have jobs in Akron! I am also a recreational tennis player, I dabble in Yoga, I enjoy Pilates, working out, fitness and binge listening to Podcasts. I enjoy many of the locally owned restaurants in and around Cleveland and Akron and stumbling upon lesser-known gems with delicious menus or fun treats is one of my favorite things to do (hint: try the Peanut Butter Crunch ice cream at the Dalton Dairiette this fall!). Fun fact: my favorite quick service restaurant is KFC; if I ever end up in the car with you, you will find out why!

Finally, I’m the daughter of educators and my godmother is a working artist so I have a deep seeded interest and appreciation for all things education and art-related. Working for EA is great for me because I get to be part of a team of amazing, supportive, encouraging co-workers who are the best in the world at attracting and welcoming newcomers to Cleveland/Akron.
